COLLOQUIUM / CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Date : 27th - 28th September 2011 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Time : 8.00 AM – 6.00 PM

Venue : The Legend Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Participants

Participation for this colloquium/conference is open to all healthcare providers particularly to those in public health.

Main Paper Presentation

The main paper is based on the main theme of the colloquium/conference.

Plenary Papers

There will be 1 keynote speech, 2 plenary papers and 12 expert speakers presenting at the colloquium/conference. The keynote address and the 2 plenary papers are based on the theme and will be presented by eminent speakers in their respective fields of public health. The expert speakers are also presented by eminent speakers from family health, health promotion, healthcare management, occupa- tional health, epidemiology and environmental health.

Credit points for Continuing Medical Education (CME) will be given to local participants for participation.

Scientific Paper and Poster Presentation.

Participants are cordially invited to present scientific papers at the colloquium. Slots are available for a total of 80 oral papers and 60 posters. Kindly conform to the following guidelines ;

Submission guidelines - abstract format.

The deadline for submission of abstract is 31st July 2011.

Participants are encouraged to submit their abstracts by 'online form' or email to [email protected].

All abstract are to be written in English.

The entire abstract must not exceed 300 words or 2,000 characters (with spaces).

Please specify whether submission is for oral or poster presentation.

The abstract must include : Introduction, Methodol- ogy, Result, Conclusion and Keyword of the paper.

Those accepted will be informed by 15th August 2011 and must pay their registration fees before 31st August 2011 for abstracts will be included in the abstracts book.

Awards will be given to the 3 best papers and 3 best posters. Those who wish to be the awarded, should include a short executive summary along with their abstract.

Language of presentation.

The language of presentation can either be in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
