Conclusion 17

This chapter concludes with a discussion among students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan in Pengkalan Chepa on the awareness and knowledge of e-wallet usage based on their behavioral intention. Therefore, in this chapter as well, the researcher explains how TAM and UTAUT play a key role in finding independent variables based on the behavioral intentions of E-wallet users. According to the first independent variable, perceived usefulness is the existing e-wallet usage behavior considered useful.

Based on this hypothesis, the use of E-Wallet in various community circles is of particular importance for facilitating the everyday purchase of certain commodities. This feature indicates that the user intends to use this E-Wallet if it is easy to use. Users' behavioral intentions to use an application are strongly influenced by their level of trust in the application.

This E-Wallet contains a guaranteed security system to prevent hackers from accessing customers' personal data. Therefore, using an E-Wallet will be enjoyable if it is used continuously to generate more profits. This variable reflects the compatibility between the current lifestyle and the consumer's desire to use E-Wallet.

Five independent variables, including perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, enjoyment, and lifestyle compatibility, are significant to the behavioral intention to use e-wallet among UMK students in Pengkalan Chepa according to the statement of the five hypotheses.
