UNDERPINNING THEORY

The view showed that the TPB constructs and significantly influences purchase intentions toward OFD offerings through utilitarian and hedonic values. 2020) combined the Theory of Acceptance Model (TAM) and the TPB to understand the main predictors of users' intentions to use food delivery apps. They found that "the combination of TAM and TPB represents a legitimate and important variant that can be used to understand the behavioral intentions of OFD users." however, researchers have included more variables in the TPB to gain greater accuracy in predicting behavior (Bae and Chang, 2020).

PREVIOUS STUDIES

H1: There is a positive relationship between time saving and online food delivery services among undergraduate students of University of Malaysia, Kelantan. H2: There is a positive relationship between cost savings and online food delivery services among undergraduate students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. H3: There is a positive relationship between perceived usefulness of online food delivery services among undergraduate students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.

H4: There is a positive relationship between prior online shopping experiences and online food delivery services among undergraduate students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The objective of this study is to determine the use of online food delivery among undergraduate students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. In previous articles and studies, there are many purposes for using an online food delivery service (OFDS).

All these factors will be investigated if they are related to the use of online food delivery service among Universiti Malaysia Kelantan students. This chapter is a literature review related to the topic The use of online food delivery service among Universiti Malaysia Kelantan students. Furthermore, this study provides evidence on the use of online food delivery service among university students in Malaysia Kelantan by referring to several relevant articles, journals and previous research.

RESEARCH METHODS 3.1 INTRODUCTION

RESEARCH DESIGN

DATA COLLECTION METHOD

  • PRIMARY DATA

With, for this research, the researchers will collect data through a closed question using google form as medium. The researchers choose to select the respondents from undergraduate students from 3 branches of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), which are from Kota Campus, Bachok Campus and Jeli Campus.

STUDY POPULATION

SAMPLE SIZE

SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

  • NON-PROBABILITY SAMPLE TECHNIQUES
  • CONVENIENCE SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

This study used non-probability sampling, which is used when the population is not well defined or the population is large. The main rationale for using this non-probability sampling method is that it is cheaper and can often be concluded more quickly than the probability sampling method (Micheal, 2011). An alternative definition of convenience sampling is the data collected from members of the population that are freely available.

The accessibility and efficiency of knowledge discovery are the main advantages of this sampling method. Convenience sampling is probably the best technique for collecting basic data quickly and effectively, and it is most often used during the exploratory stage of a research study.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT DEVELOPMENT

  • SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE
  • NOMINAL SCALE
  • ORDINAL SCALE
  • INTERVAL SCALE
  • LIKERT SCALE
  • Pilot study (Reliability analysis)
  • FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION
  • DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS
  • CORRELATION ANALYSIS

In the final analysis of the survey responses, the ordinal scale can be used to determine the frequency of the respondent's level of education. The interval scale, also known as the equal-interval scale, represents the values of the qualities assessed with numerically equal lengths on the scale. The interval scale measures the magnitude, similarity, and order of the differences in the variable.

This method of descriptive data analysis is one of the fundamental approaches to data analysis. The best research methods should be followed to get most of the information about it properly and efficiently. This distribution uses a key in the data set and is related to the frequency of data collection.

The analyst's goal of determining the degree of recognition of each feature in this study is used to guide common queries. It is similar to the point biserial correlation, that is, the calculation of the interaction between yes or no for men or women and the vector period or ratio of the dichotomy. It occurs when the value of one variable increases while the value of the other decreases, forming a straight line on a scatter plot.

INTRODUCTION

RELIABILITY ANALYSIS

We need to distribute the questionnaires to the respondents so that they can complete a pilot test. Using SPSS software, we examine the data collected from the questionnaire for reliability. If any problems are discovered during the pilot test, the questionnaire should be improved or modified based on the results before it is given to respondents.

The independent variable is time-saving, cost-saving, perceived usefulness and previous online shopping experience, which confirmed the Cronbach's alpha coefficient value of 0.876 respectively, which had been good. The online food delivery services proved in the table above changed to the dependent variable inside the researcher and its Cronbach's alpha coefficient value confirmed 0.890 which is good and reliable. The fact that the Cronbach's alpha loading of the variables exceeded 0.7 demonstrated the high reliability of the questionnaires and allowed the study to move forward.

Moreover, it indicates that the questionnaire has been approved for this study and that the respondents have a thorough understanding of the questions posed.

DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE OF RESPONDENT

  • Gender
  • Living Area
  • Frequently of respondent use online food delivery app
  • Frequently of respondent visit food delivery websites
  • Frequently of respondent purchase food online

From the collected data, it appears that the majority of men answer the questionnaires, namely 54% or 203 respondents, while only 46% or 172 respondents out of 375 respondents are female respondents. City campus is the largest number consisting of 183 out of 375 respondents, which is 48.8% of all respondents. Based on table 4.3.5 and figure 4.3.5, there are 3 types of living spaces among all respondents.

The Foodpanda app has the highest number of respondents at 208 respondents (55.5%). The second highest number of online food delivery app users is Grabfood, which consists of 147 respondents (39.2%). Moreover, Others app has the lowest number of online food delivery app users at 8 respondents (2.1%) of the total respondents.
