The objective of employing a (Taffie light control system i ' to lower traHic density on ;\ road, thereby to providing a smooth flow of the traffic.

This thesIs report g1\ es an outllllc of the aim and objective of the project It also includes the scope of v.or~ of the project Besides, It also Introduces the 8051 microcontroller.

The deSign conSideration for the hardware and sof1ware development of Traffic Light Control System for T-JunctlOn also bemg included, All the result of cooducted testing also been mentioned as evidence to thiS project.
