MARCH 23: In conjunction with the International Day of Forests at the Kepong Botanical Gardens, FRIM invites the public to join it in tree­planting and other activities.

Five hundred trees of heavy hardwood spe­

cies will be set aside for enrichment planning.

Other activities (no charge) include a guided Nature Walk along Razak Trail for four groups of 20 persons each at 9.30am, 10am, 10.30am and 11am; a Botanical Hunt for 10 groups of five participants each (13 to 17 years old);

and a Flora Colouring Contest for 25 children (seven to 12). To register, you need to provide your full name and contact number to the email address listed above. For enquiries, call 03­6279 7577. Entrance fee will be waived for all visitors to FRIM on this day.
