Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah, that by his Mercy we are all able to gather here on this auspicious night which brings together UniMAP officials and delegates from Uzbekistan. On behalf of UniMAP and the people of Malaysia, I welcome our foreign guests to our country, particularly, to the town of Kangar.
Before I begin, please allow me to thank and congratulate the organizing committee for a job well done. It is a great pleasure to be with you this evening.
Tonight is a very special night – a night of recognition and celebration. This dinner is hosted to express my sincere appreciation to Mrs. Lyudfiya Ruzibaeva, Ms. Artikeva Dilnoza and Mr. Fazilov Gulomkodir from Uzbekistan.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to them for their patience, diligence, and seriousness in teaching culture dance to the international students and to UniMAP cultural staff. I was told that the training starts from 9.00am till 12.00noon and from 3.00pm till 6.00pm 5 days a week. I believe that without their dedication and commitment, it will never be possible to achieve this sweet success.
Ladies and gentlemen,
3 They have helped us to train the students for the “1 world Culture: International Students Culture Night 2009” at Nilai University College, Negeri Sembilan. And what makes it very special is we were announced as the champion.
Congratulations and bravo to all of you! Please give them a big round of applause.
It’s such a good experience and a great opportunity to our staff and the international students to be involved in this programme. It allows us to come together, and through the power of cultural uniqueness, enjoy and celebrate our cultural diversity.
We are here to celebrate friendships and team work. Tonight’s event specifically provides us with an important opportunity to celebrate cultural differences and diversity and to reflect on those stories and life experiences which are common to all of us regardless of geographic location, race or religion.
I guess, I have said enough and now I would like to invite all of you to have a taste of their fruitful hard work. This evening, I am sure, will become the highlight of the international friendships that we have established and a wonderful moment in your memory. Please enjoy the evening. Thank You
