ANNOUNCEMENT and CALL for PAPERS
The Mathematical Society of the Philippines invites you to participate in its 2016 MSP Annual Convention to be held on 30-31 May 2016 (Monday-Tuesday) at the Bayfront Hotel, Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City. The 2016 Convention marks the 43rd year of MSP as the country’s largest professional organization dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and mathematics education.
Researchers and educators in all areas of pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, statistics and other related areas are invited to give contributed oral or poster presentations.
The convention will feature plenary talks, contributed talks and poster presentations as well as a session of invited talks by noted mathematics educators.
Contributed Talks / Poster Presentations: Short paper presentations (15 minutes) will take place in at least five parallel sessions (algebra, graph theory and combinatorics, analysis, applied mathematics). There will likewise be poster presentations on mathematics education and any of the topics above.
Those who wish to contribute oral or poster presentations are requested to send the title and abstract along with your registration form. Indicate if you are submitting for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts (100-200 words) should be informative for proper evaluation by the program committee. Electronic submission (send both LaTeX/Word and pdf file) is preferred. The deadline for all abstracts is on 15 April 2016. All oral and poster presenters must be registered participants.

Everyone is encouraged to register by April 30 since reservations for food and printing of the convention materials have to be done in advance. There is no assurance that those who register after this date will enjoy all the privileges of the participants who register early. The fee does not include accommodation. Participants are kindly requested to arrange their own accommodations.
