COURSE SYLLABUS Course Code : 6PWDESIGN

Prerequisite : N/A

Course Credit : 3 Units (3 hours LEC) Year Level: 1st year

Degree Program: : BSIT with Area of Specialization in Web Development Course Description:

This course teaches and will provide students, knowledge on the visual arts and applied arts known as design. Students will also be given experience in applying the underlying principles of designing as well as to integrate the elements of designs and be able to produce a concrete output such as web layout designs, advertisements and other visual designs.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

Analyze situations using appropriate designs and models; Analyze user needs and requirements to determine specific areas where design and multimedia solutions will be used

BSIT04: Identify and analyze user needs and take them into account in the selection, creation, evaluation and administration of computer-based designs and multimedia productions
