ONLINE GAD TRAINING: Allocation, Utilization, and Audit of GAD Budget
During the Women’s Month Celebration, the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) conducted an online GAD training entitled “Allocation, Utilization, and Audit of GAD Budget (17 March 2022)”. Two (2) GAD FPS TWG members had attended the training, where they learnt about the audit of GAD budget in accordance with pertinent laws, rules, policies and guidelines set by the government.
This 3 hours training enhanced their sensitivity and responsiveness to basic GAD concepts and related GAD policies in mainstreaming gender in agency processes, structures, systems, and plans.
They also learned to instill fiscal accountability in the utilization of the GAD budgets and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of GAD interventions in the implementation of the GAD plans and programs.
