Michael Alba, our President, will elaborate on the academic achievements of the various FEU schools under his wing. Fortunately, the FEU group of schools was better prepared than most other schools in the country to deal with the severe consequences of the pandemic. To improve the quality of the faculty, Far Eastern University (the main campus) and the FEU.
On the school side, the necessary online systems and capacities of the faculties have been established. The distance learning survey examined the implementation of distance learning methods3 and asked about the overall satisfaction of students with the chosen method. Nevertheless, the results of the survey were used to improve the design of the learning methods in their subsequent implementations.
Thus began the journey of digital transformation of the FEU Group of Schools that has resulted in the creation of a data warehouse for all data sources (from different offices as well as Canvas). Regulatory excellence – meeting the highest regulatory and accreditation standards – is an institutional aspiration of the FEU Group of Schools. IE's teacher education programs are a CHED Center of Excellence, while the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration of the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance is a CHED Development Center.
In the case of the FEU Institute of Technology, four of its academic programs achieved reaccredited PAASCU Level II status during the school year: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
