A Work of Heart:

DLSL Teacher’s Day Celebration

World Teacher’s Day was made memorable through fun and meaningful in-person activities on October 5. Themed “The Transformation of Education Begins With Teachers,” it is a fitting tribute since educators must evolve with the changing times.

The festivities started with a solemn Holy Eucharist celebration at the Sentrum, followed by the Integrated School, College, and administrators’ parties held

separately. Students showed their appreciation with fun intermission numbers.

There were parlor games and Zumba dances to get everyone hyped up and moving. Lunch and snacks were also served to complete this year’s Teacher’s Day celebration, so everyone came home with full bellies and happy hearts.

Education is the foundation of the development and growth of any nation, so it is critical to enhance faculty skills and show them an appreciation for motivation. After all, teaching is not just a work of art but a work of heart.
