Objectives  

 

• To undertake research and development activities for innovative product development  and process innovations 

• To conduct proactive technology transfer programs for capacity and enterprise  development 

• To produce and market value­added bamboo­based products 

• To provide common service facilities to bamboo­based industries and enterprise

• Research and Development 

* Technology development for efficient and applicable technologies 

* Prototype development of innovative and high­value bamboo products 

* Product development & bamboo species matching 

• Technology Transfer 

* Technology Promotion through seminars and participation in trade exhibits 

* Trainings for skills development in various areas of bamboo production 

* Technical assistance / consultancy for livelihood development projects 

• Production for income generation 

* Small­scale production of marketable products for income generation 

• Provision of CSF for small­scle producers 

* Provision of production facilities to small­scal producers for a fee
