Interactive learning refers to a pedagogical approach that promotes active
thinking
and creativity through technologicalmediation.
The interactions that take place are human-human interaction and human-technologyinteraction.
The aim of the study was to investigate: the extent of the useof
interactive techniques/tools, the effectsofthe
useof
interactive leaming in teaching and learning, and the readiness of higher education institutions to adopt interactive strategies, as perceived by engineeringfafllty
and students. Findings indicatefiat faculty-
and student- respondents generally have favorable perceptions on interactive leaming and haveidentified
group work as the most frequently used interactive teaching technique.Both respondents have perceived capability to teach and learn using interactive leaming, as
