REQUIREMENTS:

_____ 2. Determination of the WVSU-CAT cut off scores by the College of Nursing (CON) Committee on Admission (COA) as endorsed by the Registrar.
_____ 3. Receipt of Payment of NAT testing fee.
_____ 4. One (1) long size plastic envelope with name (surname, first, middle).
_____ 5. Two (2) identical copies of 2x2 colored pictures with name tag (surname, first, middle) with white background. Computer generated or photocopied picture is not acceptable.
*Submit certified photocopy only but bring original report card.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT:
1. Must be a K-12 graduate from a duly recognized institution by the Department of Education.
2. Must not be a transferee or a second courser.
3. Must be qualified to the next stage of selection process based on the WVSU CAT.
4. Must have a Quality Index (QI) of at least high average in the Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT).
5. Must be certified as physically fit after a medical – dental examination conducted by the WVSU Medical -Dental Clinic.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
1. Admission to the WVSU College of Nursing Shall be based on the following:
High School Grade Point Average (GPA) . . . 25%
WVSUCAT Performance . . . 25%
Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) Performance . . . 40%
Performance in the Interview . . . 10%

2. Ranking system will be used to determine the number of student to be admitted into the program.
