II. Course Name: : FIRE TECHNOLOGY AND ARSON INVESTIGATION
III. Course Description: The course covers the principles of fire protection and technology and its behaviour. Likewise, it focuses on fire investigat ion and the role of fire-fighters during fire suppression and investigation, the study of Fire and Building Codes, and law on destructive arson including arson investigation and evidence.
IV. Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO1: Conduct Criminological research on crimes involving fire and pyromania as a deviant behavior.
CLO2: Demonstrate competence and broad understanding fire technology and arson investigations part of law enforcement adminis tration, public safety, and criminal justice.
CLO3: Utilize Criminalistics or Forensic Science in arson investigation and detection.
CLO4: Apply the Principles of and Jurisprudence of Criminal Law, evidence, and criminal procedure on arson investigations.
