LGU-DAPITAN CITY BENCHMARKS DOST-ITDI FOOD, ENVIRONMENT TECH
DOST's Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) welcomed the visiting party of LGU- Dapitan City as the latter held a benchmarking visit to DOST agencies on April 20, 2023.
The 10-person party was led by Zamboanga del Norte Provincial S&T Director Mr. Nuhman M.
Aljani and Dapitan City OIC-CID Mr. Ryann Z. Elumba, along with Mr. Rhemil C. Palileo of the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations.
They were welcomed to ITDI by Deputy Director for Administrative and Technical Services Dr.
Zorayda V. Ang and Environment and Biotechnology Division (EBD) Chief Engr. Reynaldo L.
Esguerra, along with Technological Services Division's (TSD) Mr. Reginald Roy U. dela Cruz, Food Processing Division's (FPD) Mr. Bienvenido B. Flores, Jr., and EBD's Engr. David L.
Herrera.
A courtesy call and short orientation was held at the MiC Conference Room, followed by tours of the Halal Food R&D Facility and EBD's solid waste management technologies.
Aside from ITDI, they visited the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI), Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC), and Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI).
