TO: Presidents/HeadsofPrivateHigher Education institutions (PHEIs)with NOApplications forTertiary Education Subsidy(TES)forAY 2018-2019 SUBJECT: Orientation on Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)and Student Loan

Program (SLP) under RepublicAct 10931 (UniversalAccess to Quality TertiaryEducation)

This Office informsand invites all concerned onthe Orientation on Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Student Loan Program (SLP) as programs ofRA 10931 also known as the UniversalAccess toQuality TertiaryEducation Act (UAQTEA) which will be conducted on June 4, 2019. Thisactivity isforprivate HEIswho have not yet applied for TESforAY2018-2019. Itwill be held atthe Forum, Orchid Gardens, Lazatin Blvd., City ofSan Fernando, Pampanga. Registration is at 8:30AM.

Theobjectives ofthe orientation are:

1. To create awareness among PHEIs who have not applied for TES in AY 2018- 2019 as regards TES, SLP and UAQTEA;

2. To inform the participantstheirsignificant rolein the implementation ofthe TES andSLP;

3. To introduce and enlighten the participants on Listahanan 2.0 and other prioritization categories in the TESapplication; and

4. To discuss theTES Online Portal and other pertinentapplication requirements.

Expected participants areheads ofconcerned private HEIs and scholarship coordinatorsor registrars. Each HEI is allotted two (2) slotsforthis orientation.

No registration fee shall be charged to the participants. Transportation and other incidental expenses shall be shouldered by participating HEI, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules.
