Abstract
The study
describesthe
demographicprofile,
positivity, academic performance,and
adjustment,and
presents the predictorsof
college adjustment amonga
sampleof
90students from the different courses of Ama Computer Learning Center (ACLC) San Fernando Campus, covering

Comprehensive Guidance Program. Positivity showedno
significant correlationto
academic peformance and demographic profile,but
significant relationship resultedto
adjustmentin
linewith
its concerns on academic, career, and familyas
well ason
depression and substance abuse.Academic performance,
on the other hand,
showed no significant relationship to demographic profile in terms of age, gender, parenYs marital status, and last school attended; but significant relationship resulted to course, ordinal position, andeconomic status. Academic
performancealso
showedsignificant correlation
to
adjustmentin line with
anxiety,depression, career problem, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse domains. Regression analyses showed that demographic profile
in
termsof
gender, economic status, and school last attended as well as academic performance are the prcdictors of adjustment in line with academic problem, career problem, depression, interpersonal problem, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation domains. These findingshave
significant implications and render valuable inputs in the formulation of a comprehensive guidance program for ACLC.Education seryes as a gateway from
