The Policy Coordination and Monitoring Division (PCMD) of the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, Emerging Technology Research, and Development (PCIEERD) is looking for a result driven, analytical, detail oriented and resourceful individual to fill the vacancy for:
Information Systems Analyst II – Software Quality Assurance Contract of Service
SG 16 (Php 45,780.00/mo) QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related courses;
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience;
• With at least 4 hours of relevant trainings;
• Must have experience in testing and debugging information systems;
• With knowledge in basic programming and SQL;
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
• Must be a team-player, with good working attitude, commitment and dedication;
• Result-oriented, analytical and can work under pressure with minimum supervision; and
• Possesses good interpersonal, and written, and oral communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Define and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test specifications and conditions;
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities such as UI testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression);
• Provide inputs for creation and documentation Manual of In-house Developed Information Systems and reviews project requirements, specifications, and technical designs/reports to assess Software Quality Assurance (SQA) tests needed;
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using new open-source testing tools and test strategies;
• Create defect/bug reports against issues found during testing;
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs; and
• Perform other duties as requested and within areas of expertise.
