IV. MSN PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
The MSN graduates are expected to:
1. Utilize their understanding of the context of nursing practice in initiating actions or interventions and in planning and evaluating programs and policies for specific work settings/foci: client care; nursing education;
nursing research; and nursing leadership, governance, and management;
2. Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication in nursing practice: client care; nursing education; nursing research; and nursing leadership, governance, and management;

An Angelite MSN student is able to demonstrate and master the ability to:

VI. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides an introduction to the underlying principles of health services administration. Emphasis is placed on concepts and principles of administration including policies, quality assurance and human resources development. Contemporary issues on principles of health services administration are highlighted as integration activity.
VII. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. demonstrate understanding of the different principles of health services administration and how it applies to health service delivery;
2. examine the healthcare service environment from a systems perspective with emphasis to external and internal forces;
3. analyze health care service industry trends and examine the effects on the health care service from an economic, political, technological and social perspective;
and
4 4. apply principles of HSA to improve professional practice and interdisciplinary relationships for better meeting the changing health needs of individuals and populations.
