Iloilo City U rban Poor A ffairs O ffice (ICUPAO) M anagem ent Inform ation System w ith m apping w as developed to provide to the user a convenient way o f
m anaging data and do not need to go through a time consum ing m anual com putation and data retrieval.
The system has features that will help them properly m anaged their daily transactions. It includes registration o f applicants, awarding o f registrants, profiling the records, m onitoring and generating reports o f awardees. The sy ste m 's front end was developed through M icrosoft Visual Studio 2012 while its back end was SQL Server 2008. W indow s 7 U ltim ate was used as the operating system during the developm ent until im plem entation.
It aids the personnel on their operations and for safekeeping o f records and other inform ation that is essential to their office.
The system w ill also provide sufficient assistance to the staff on their day-to- day operational transactions wherein the M IS will provide features and capabilities for the users to better m anage the inform ation that were processed. The system also m anages all the records for easy updating o f the status and provides an easy way to generate
reports. Thus, this will increase the efficiency and effectiveness in data m anagem ent o f the IC U PA O
