T he C o m p u ter A ided Instruction for K indergarten II pupils will help the K in d erg arten D ep artm en t o f Central P hilippine U niversity in teaching pupils to becom e m ore effective and interactive. W ith the current m ethod that teachers use to deliver the lesson to th eir class, the proponents have identified problem such as the teachers are having difficulty in preparing activities in line w ith the scheduled lesson as stated in the
lesson guide or syllabus. The current visual aid s used by the teachers are not sufficient to m aintain the attention span o f the pupils. A nd it is not cost efficient for kindergarten II teachers to frequently buy m aterials to replace visual aids that are already tom and/or outdated.
T he purpose o f the study is to p ro v id e a lesson guide m odule that allow s teach er to create and d ev elo p lessons to be delivered in the class. A content m anager that w ill incorporate m u ltim ed ia presentation based on the chosen lesson for the day. A visual p resen tatio n that can be replaced from tim e to tim e by any available videos found on the c o m p u ter’s library. And a review questions fo r pupils that will allow teachers to check the attentiveness o f the pupils after each lesson.
The E volutionary Prototyping w as used in developing the C om puter A ided Instruction in M athem atics for K indergarten II and to build a very robust prototype in a structured m an n er and constantly refine it. W hen developing a system using E volutionary P rototyping, the system is continually refined and rebuilt. This technique allow s the dev elo p m en t team to add features, or m ake changes that couldn't be conceived during the requirem ents and design phase.
