Philippine Economic Briefing and Sulong Pilipinas 2022

The Philippine Economic Briefing (PEB) provides business owners, analysts, and investors with the most important updates and projections on the economic performance of the country. Sulong Pilipinas is a consultative workshop that has resulted in the Duterte administration’s delivery of a majority of the top actionable recommendations received directly from Filipino citizens, particularly the business sector.
This year, the PEB and Sulong Pilipinas will be held back-to-back on 5 April 2022 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (GMT +8) at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City with live broadcast and online and streaming platforms.
This year’s briefing and consultation will help the current and future administrations identify pressing concerns of the business sector, especially amid the pandemic, and translate these issues into concrete government actions.
The suggestions from workshop participants will be consolidated and packaged into a list of top actionable recommendations. The Secretary of Finance, who is the Chair of the Economic Development Cluster, will incorporate this list in the Cluster’s accomplishments and transition notes to the President for the consideration of the next administration.
