POLICY GUIDELINES

ON HOME STUDY PROGRAM

Integrated School | Effective SY 2022 - 2023

RATIONALE

OBJECTIVES

Inspired by the work of our founder Saint John Baptist De La Salle, who clearly showed that Jesus is at the center of our educational mission, and driven by the commitment to provide 21st century education and ensure inclusion as we deliver excellent education to the students entrusted to our care, De La Salle Lipa Integrated School offers the Home Study Program, an Alternative Delivery Mode under the Flexible Learning Option in line with the Revised Guidelines on Homeschooling Program (DepEd Order 01, s. 2022) to Kinder to Grade 10 students whose parents opt to have them take a Lasallian education at home due to various circumstances. Through this program, DLSL partakes in the salvific mission of education which is the impetus of the

establishment of our school.

As this policy took effect SY 2022-2023, this supersedes all policy

guidelines on Home Study Option program published by the school in the previous school years.

This program specifically aims to:

a. ensure inclusivity of Lasallian education by providing parents of Kinder to Grade 10 learners an option to educate their children at home;

b. offer continued access to a human and Christian Lasallian education to students who cannot go to school due to various circumstances.
