Primer on

Extension Load Credit (ELC) Online Application System

This primer describes the key features and process of the ELC Online Application System.

Please read the guide thoroughly before using the online application system.

Process Steps Process Details

Go to http://oec.ovcrd.upd.edu.ph/oec/start, click REGISTER to start using the system and to register an account (Refer to Fig.01).

Note: If you already have an account, proceed to Step 6.

Fill-in the required fields (Refer to Fig.02).

Kindly use an existing email, where the system can send notifications and updates. After filling up the necessary details, click REGISTER.

Congratulations! You already have an account.

To change or update any information on your profile, just click EDIT from profile (Refer to Fig.03) and amend the information before clicking the UPDATE button.

To log out from your account, click HOME (Refer to Fig.04).

A dropdown menu will appear, and then click LOGOUT (Refer to Fig.05).

Kindly update your account every time you have an Extension Work activity/project. To start entering your extension work activity, first LOGIN on your account (Refer to Fig.01).

Note: Only those with Extension Work activity registered in their account may apply for Extension Load Credit (ELC).

To add extension work activity/activities, go to EXTENSION WORK (Refer to Fig.07), then click ADD EXTENSION WORK.

Fill-in the required details (Refer to Fig.08), then click ADD. Remember to attach the necessary file (PDF) especially when applying for Extension Load Credit.

To check if you successfully added the extension work, go to EXTENSION WORK, a

summary of the activity will open. To check and edit the entries, click VIEW (Refer to Fig.09) and amend the information before clicking the UPDATE button.

To add another extension work activity or activities, just click ADD EXTENSION WORK and go back to step 8.

Congratulations! You already entered your extension work/activities on your account.

Now, applying for Extension Load Credit (ELC) is simple.

Before applying for ELC, please download and carefully read the ELC Guidelines (Refer to Fig.10). ELC applicants with personally-funded extension work must fill-up ELC Form 1 (Extension Work Information Form). You may view and download these files, just click DOWNLOADS (Refer to Fig.01). If you are already logged-in, go to HOME, then click DOWNLOADS (Refer to Fig.05).

Make sure you have updated your extension work particularly the ATTACHMENT FIELD before applying for ELC. Kindly upload the necessary supporting document in PDF file (either a signed contract/MOA for externally-funded extension activity/project, or the Extension Work Information Form (ELC Form 1), endorsed by Dean/Unit Head, for personally-funded

extension activity. To upload the PDF file, click the line above the ATTACHMENT button and choose the file from your computer (Refer to Fig.08).

To apply for ELC, click ELC APPLICATIONS (Refer to Fig.04).

The ELC application archive page will open. Here you will see all your ELC applications. To begin a new application, click APPLY (Refer to Fig.12).

Then select an extension work to attach to the ELC application by clicking the small arrow (Refer to Fig.13). A dropdown menu will appear, choose the title of extension work, then click +ADD. To include another extension work, simply click the small arrow again, choose another extension work activity, then click +ADD.

Do not forget to type the number of ELC Unit/s Requested. Check the YES button if you have a current RLC/CWLC application. Then click SAVE.

To print your ELC application form, go to HOME or main page, click ELC Applications (Refer to Fig.03). Click SUBMIT (Refer to Fig.14).

Another page will appear reiterating your submission (Refer to Fig.15), click SUBMIT.

A confirmation will appear. Click BACK TO MAIN (Refer to Fig.16). On the main page, click ELC Applications (Refer to Fig.03).

Click PRINT (Refer to Fig.17). The ELC application form will be downloaded. Save the file to your computer. You may now print the form, and have it endorsed/signed by your

Department Chair and Dean/Head of Unit.
