บทคัดยอ
การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปจจัยที่สงผลตอการยอมรับบทบาททางการเมือง ในชุมชนของผูนําสตรีลีซอ 2) เพื่อศึกษาปญหาและอุปสรรคในการทํางานและพัฒนาชุมชนของผูนํา สตรีลีซอ และ 3) เพื่อเสนอแนวทางในการพัฒนาบทบาททางการเมืองของสตรีลีซอในชุมชน
ทําการรวบรวมขอมูลจากการสัมภาษณผูนําสตรีลีซอจํานวน 4 คน และเก็บรวบรวมขอมูล จากแบบสอบถามสมาชิกในหมูบานลีซอแมแตะจํานวน 50 ตัวอยาง
ผลการศึกษาพบวา
ชุมชนยังไมใหการยอมรับบทบาททางการเมืองของผูนําสตรีเทาผูนําที่เปนชาย ถึงแมวาผูนํา สตรีลีซอจะมีบทบาททางการเมือง โดยในชวงการจัดการเลือกตั้ง ผูนําสตรีจะเปนผูใหความรูในการใช
สิทธิเลือกตั้งและแนะนําตัวผูสมัคร อีกทั้งยังมีบทบาทในการทําประชาพิจารณและจัดทําโครงการพัฒนา ภายในหมูบานรวมกับองคกรทองถิ่นก็ตาม อยางไรก็ดี สวนใหญบทบาทในการสนองตอบตอ ความตองการของสังคมของผูนําสตรี มักเปนไปในดานการใหบริการ เชน การบริการสาธารณสุข ขั้นมูลฐาน การแปลภาษาไทยใหแกชาวบาน และการใหความรูในการประกอบอาชีพเสริม สรุปไดวา ผลการวิจัยไมเปนไปตามสมมติฐาน เนื่องจากอิทธิพลของความคิดระบบที่ผูชายเปนใหญในสังคมลีซอ ยังคงแฝงตัวอยู ซึ่งจะเห็นไดจากตําแหนงทางการเมืองที่สงวนไวเพื่อบุคคลชั้นนําที่เปนผูชายเทานั้น

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the factors leading to the acceptance of the political role of women in Lisu community, 2) to study problems and obstacles of the women in working to develop the community, and 3) to suggest ways to increase the political role of women in Lisu community.
Primary data were collected from two sources: 1) in-depth interviews with 4 Lisu female leaders and 2) closed-ended questionnaires from 50 respondents in the Mae Tae Lisu community.
The findings were:
The acceptance of the political role of women in the Lisu community was low despite the fact that the role of female leaders in politics was most observable during the elections. Female leaders were seen educating people the rights to vote and introducing the candidates, for instance.
Female leaders were also active in promoting sanitary services, translating Thai language to Lisu language and providing knowledge in supplementary occupation. In short, the research hypothesis was rejected because the male dominant value system had yet been carried on. Local political offices were reserved for male leaders only.
