Learning Outcomes through Learning Together Approach with Reinforcement on Responsibility for Learning of Matthayomsueksa 2

This study aimed to examine the effects of learning through a cooperative learning (LT) approach using reinforcement on learning responsibility, and to compare the learning responsibility behaviors of Matthayomsueksa 2 students who learned using the LT approach with reinforcing responsibility for teaching and learning using the teacher's handbook. The instruments used in this study were plans for the organization of learning through the cooperative group of LT with reinforcement of responsibility for learning, an achievement test, a scale for behaviors in responsibility for learning and an observation form for behaviors in responsibility for learning . Students who learned using the LT approach with reinforcement of responsibility for learning showed gains in learning achievement from pre-learning at the 0.05 level of significance.

The students who learned using the LT approach with reinforcement of responsibility for learning showed an increase in behavior in responsibility for learning as a whole and in every aspect compared to before leaning at the .05 significance level. The students who learned using the LT approach with reinforcement of responsibility for learning showed higher behavior in responsibility for learning than those who learned using the teacher's manual at the .05 significance level.

Introduction

Phenomenology as a qualitative research

Reinharz (1983) articulated the steps of transformation, where participants' experiences are transformed into language and action, transform what is seen and heard into meaning, and further analysis and conceptual categories that are the core of the experience. Researchers transform the experience into a written document, which is an exhaustive description whose purpose is to synthesize and capture the meaning of the experience in written form, without distortion or loss of richness. Carpenter (1995) and Sandelowski (1994) propose that the characteristics of the findings are the experiences of the participants: the outcome is a description of the phenomenon under study.

Validity, reliability and neutrality

Yonge and Stewin (1988) claim that validity can be increased by using a panel of experts to help select the participants, consider the data rather than the participants, and obtain data that is as representative as possible. This can be achieved through a stepwise replication technique (similar to split-half reliability in quantitative studies), implementation of a coded procedure, peer review and triangulation of the data collection methods. The validity of each sample group depends on the researcher's knowledge and understanding of the population in order to select and diagnose a pattern definition.

You should consider these variables and personal characteristics in your conclusions to ensure that the report is valid and written in a style appropriate to the purpose of the investigation. The report must be unbiased and free of personal views and feelings of the researcher.

Strength and weakness

Yonge and Stewin (1988) argue that it is the freedom from bias in the procedure and results that will establish validity and reliability. The important issue when considering validity and reliability is that in qualitative research, different methods should be used to increase authenticity and expand certain attitudes. Conflicts between the researcher and the participant should be approached creatively to find another method to ascertain the desired information.

It is an interpretive approach that helps in theory building and helps in applying learned concepts of a particular phenomenon to make generalizations from which quantitative research strategies can be developed. Regarding neutrality, Yonge and Stewin (1988) argue that validity and reliability are established in the absence of bias in procedure and results.

It is important, as far as possible, to establish the concept of equality between participants and researchers, so that the assigned research is seen as a collaboration between the researcher and the participants. In data analysis, the advantage is that the results increase the understanding of the individual. In presenting findings, the strength of phenomenology is its ability to assist data collectors in providing psychological support and gaining cooperation in subsequent procedures.

It improves understanding of common human experiences and facilitates awareness of one's own attitudes and feelings. The main disadvantage is that it is too subjective and has no generally accepted criteria for evaluation, so it may be too general to produce or influence an effective prediction.

Ethical concerns

It is placed in natural environments, provides self-knowledge and explores different types of knowledge. However, there are obvious weaknesses when the sample is too small to make adequate generalizations. It also (in the researcher's opinion) lacks procedural guidelines for conducting a sustainable approach from a variety of perspectives.

In addition, the data collector must be trained in the research discipline and must have an understanding of psychology and communication skills. The disadvantage is centered on the time required to become familiar with the data; develop coding; encrypt transcripts; complete the analysis process and understand any bias that might affect the results.
