The title: Repetitive strain injury conditions of silver cutter workers in Muensan Ban Wualai and Wat Srisuphan community, Haiya sub-district, Muang district, Chiang Mai province. The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence and prevalence of repetitive strain injuries and to investigate associations between personal factors together with working condition and the incidence and prevalence of repetitive strain injuries among silver cutter workers in Muensan Ban Wualai and Wat Srisuphan communities, Haiya sub-district, Muang- district, Chiang Mai Province. The results showed that the prevalence and incidence of repetitive strain injuries of low back was the highest (79.31% and 82.76% respectively) followed by shoulder pain which revealed the same prevalence and incidence rate of 74.14%.
Taking into account the conditions of RSI 12 months prior to the study, the results revealed similar symptoms of numbness in subjects (56.9%). The relationship between personal factors and factors related to work performance on the prevalence and incidence of RSI showed that body excess weight, ergonomic factors, inappropriate body posture, repetitive movements, amount. In conclusion, both personal and ergonomic factors influenced the health status of the silver cutters.
ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านสุขภาพควรให้ความรู้และสร้างความตระหนักในการป้องกันอาการบาดเจ็บซ้ำซากอันจะนำไปสู่คุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของบุคคลเหล่านี้และสถานะทางเศรษฐกิจที่ดีของคนในชุมชนโรคกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกในช่วง 12 เดือน 7 วันที่ผ่านมา ร้อยละ 87, 66 และ 65.11 มีอาการผิดปกติ. ปราณีต ปิ่นเกล้า (2550) ศึกษาปัจจัยด้านการยศาสตร์และความชุกของกลุ่มอาการ ความผิดปกติในระบบโครงกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อในผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพนวดแผนไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมได้รับปัจจัยทางสรีระศาสตร์ในระดับความเสี่ยงต่อความผิดปกติของโครงกระดูก และท่าโพสท่าซ้ำๆ ร้อยละ 95.45 และท่าที่ไม่เหมาะสมสำหรับความชุกของความผิดปกติของโครงกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกในช่วง 12 เดือนและ 7 วันก่อนการศึกษา ร้อยละ 58.18 ร้อยละ 81.82 และ 40.91 ตามลำดับ
