Abstract:
An Integrated modeling system known as "Comprehensive Economic and
Environmental Optimization Tool (CEEOT) was designed to evaluate the economic and environmental factors affected by various cropping and livestock management systems at field and watershed levels. The CEEOT components include the
Farm-level Economic Model (FEM), the field-scale Agricultural
Policy/Environmental eXtender (APEX), and the Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) models. The CEEOT modeling system has been applied at different watersheds located in State of Texas and Iowa. In this presentation, the application of CEEOT for Upper Maquoketa River Watershed (UMRW) located in northeast of Iowa will be discussed.
