The objectives of this research were to analyze the factors of religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles; to construct and develop and validate a structural relationship model of the causal factors of religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles. The sample was comprised of five hundred and sixty seven Protestant Christian Seventh-day Adventist students studying in the second semester of the 2558 academic year at the undergraduate level at Asia-Pacific International University. The members of the sample were selected by judgmental sampling and the data were collected by using ten forms of questionnaires with the reliability level of 0.846, 0.785, 0.705, 0.618, 0.791, 0.774, 0.824, 0.784, 0.865, and 0.883. In addition, descriptive statistics was used to describe the sample characteristics and variable distribution. In terms of hypothesis testing with regard to the causal relationship with religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles was analyzed by LISREL.
The major findings were summarized that the model of the religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles was perfectly fit the empirical data after adjusting the model with Chi-square (F2) = 1,098.96, df = 278, p = 0.00, CFI = 0.97, SRMR
= 0.060, NFI = 0.96, NNFI = 0.97, RMSEA = 0.072, with factors including religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles were practices to God, practices in society, practices on the self, practices in terms of ceremony, and practices in church activities. The causal factors with direct effects to religious practices according to Seventh- day Adventist principles were religious knowledge, adherence to religious principles, and religious outreach. The causal factors with indirect effects to religious practices according to Seventh-day Adventist principles were adherence to religious principles, Seventh-day Adventist way of life, and attitudes toward religious practices.
