EDITORIAL
Famous professors in Obstetrics and Gynecology were invited to be a member of International Editorial Board of Thai Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The International Editorial Board Meeting was held on 22nd October 2013 at Lotus 9 room, the Centera Grand Hotel at the time of AOCOG 2013.
The members of International Editorial Board of Thai Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology included:
Prof. John Kavanagh (USA)
Prof. Rudy Leon De Wilde (Germany) Prof. Eu Leong Yong (Singapore)
The purposes of this meeting was to review TJOG publication results for 2010-2013, and to receive criticism and suggestions from board members on how to improve the journal.
Editor-in-Chief of TJOG, Prof. Nares Sukcharoen, made opening remarks and then introduced three invited members of International Editorial Board of TJOG. Background of TJOG and its activities in the last 4 years was presented. The TJOG aimed to publish high-quality research ranging from experimental studies carried out in the laboratory to applied clinical studies for clinicians. The activities of TJOG were presented such as online submission systems and online access of the journal. The submission rates and rejection rates were also reviewed.
Many comments and suggestions from the international editorial board were helpful to improve our journal and website.
Many changes will be occurred in the next few years.
