1. Opening a Meeting

1.1 The internal meeting with partner to finalize MFMA including fisheries refugia in Kampot province was organized by DFC/FiA on 15 March 2022. Wildlife Earth Alliance (WEA) organization as working partner with DFC/FiA participated in this meeting to assist the finalization of mapping MFMA in Kampot province.

1.2 Mr. Ouk Vibol expressed thank very much to teamwork from WEA taking their chances to join the meeting and assist the finalization of MFMA including fisheries refugia Map in Kampot province. He declared to open the meeting and discussion.

2. Discussion

2.1 Mr. Ouk Vibol informed the meeting that when new governor of Kampot has arrived, it is need to revise maps to explain the new governor to understand the process of the establishment of MFMA in Kampot province. He proposed teamwork from WEA to help prepare 3 maps including 1) map of sea grass and coral reef areas, 2) map of MFMA, and 3) map of MFMA with Development Companies because it is need to use these maps to explain to new governor.

2.2 Mr. Tuy Sereiwathana supported his proposal and suggested GIS specialist from WEA to make these maps.

2.3 Mr. Ouk Vibol added that a meeting in Kampot province, it is needed to write an official letter from FiA DG to Kampot Governor and when the meeting will be possible, it is dependents on provincial hall administration.

3. Closing a Meeting

3.1 Mr. Ouk Vibol thanked very much again to teamwork from WEA, which always collaborate working with DFC and he declared to close the meeting at 12:00pm.
