Abstract:
Lifelong learning is essential to becoming a successful person, both personally and professionally. The success of any business, organization, or group is dependent upon these type of people and their ability to continually improve, adapt, and learn.
Continuing education developed by the Iowa State University Crop Adviser
Institute (CAI) is one way that Ag Professionals may stay at the forefront of current production agriculture knowledge and continue to improve their skills. The CAI provides interactive, multi-media continuing education courses that relate to all core competency areas of the International Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) program.
These courses are delivered on CD-ROM or via the Internet so learners can access them on their schedule in their chosen location. Highlights of the CAI program and program materials will be illustrated along with feedback from learners who have used these materials.
