Abstract:

Environmental Soil Science Club activities in 2003 and 2004 focused on humanitarian project at the community of Las Pozas, Petén, Guatemala. Archaeologists and Environmental Science students established an alliance with the 'Qeqchi' Maya villages to promote future ecoturism activities,

sustainable development and environmental quality within the community. This year's project was to collect and provide school supplies to the school children at Las Pozas.
