Abstract
The study aimed to study level of labor’s perception of happy workplace concept classified by personal factors and organizational factors. The data were collected from labor in industrial estates in the eastern provinces. With infinite population of labor, the minimum 385 samples were calculated with 65 additional samples for error prevention. Hence, the total number of samples was 450. For corporate samples, quota sampling was used and it resulted in 150 samples from each province. Questionnaire was used as data collecting tool. The findings revealed the level of totally and each aspects of perception of happy workplace concept were high. When analyzed by personal factors, it was found that work year and job characteristics were two factors affecting the perception of happy workplace concept with statistical significance. When analyzed by organizational factor, it was found that the factors of employment type and industrial cluster affected the perception of happy workplace concept with statistical significance.
