年新加坡第十五屆國際青年科學論壇校內甄選辦法
一、 活動簡介
（一） 日期：2023年1月15日（星期日）至1月19日（星期四），第一日與最後一日是搭飛機時間。
（二） 地點：新加坡華僑中學。
（三） 參與者人數：學生2名、帶隊教師1名。
（四） 內容簡述
「2023 年第十五屆國際青年科學論壇」係由新加坡華僑中學與南洋理工大學高等研究所主 辦、新加坡科技研究局贊助之活動，邀請全球各地頂尖高中的數理高材生和數理教師齊聚獅城 的一場科學饗宴。
本活動宗旨為搭建全球數理領域優秀學子的學習交流平臺，2023 年論壇的主題是「重新聯 繫、重新構想：迎向更美好的世界」。蜚聲國際的諾貝爾獎科學家將親臨指導，開辦「大師班」
親自指導參加者。
參加論壇者活動前、活動中與活動結束後的任務說明詳見附件1。
二、 報名方式
（一） 資格：本校高一與高二學生。
（二） 時間：2022.11.14（星期一）~ 2022.11.18（星期五），上班日，每日08：10-17：00。
（三） 地點：科學館一樓教務處特教組。
（四） 於上述時間內繳交報名表與佐證資料。
三、 甄選方式：包括書面審查與面試
（一） 書面審查：評審委員依報名時繳交的資料審查之。書面資料須包括下列兩項
1. 數理科學類研究企劃書或作品說明書、研究日誌……等等可說明研究計畫、進度或成果的佐 證資料。
2. 可證明英語能力的經歷，例如：高中英文學期成績、英語檢定考（全民英檢、托福、多益、
雅思）、英語話劇、建中使節團、建中模聯、校內外英語性社團或比賽……等等。
（二） 面試
1.集合時間：2022.11.23（星期三）中午12：10。
2.集合地點：科學館一樓教務處特教組。
3.面試順序：依報到時抽籤決定之。
4.面試要項：面試題目包括下列兩題
（1）以英文介紹自己與學校，1分鐘為限。
（2）以中文說明自己的研究主題與研究進展。
（三）成績計算：總成績＝（書面審查）×40%＋（面試）×60%
（四）錄取名額：2名。依「總成績」由高至低排序，擇優錄取2名。
四、 經費：錄取者須自行負擔與安排至新加坡的來回機票費用，以及在臺灣的機場接送事宜。營隊期 間的食宿則由新加坡主辦單位安排之。
五、 本辦法陳 校長核定後實施，修訂亦同。
Programme Highlights for Students
Pre-Event:
• Poster Exhibition. Every school is encouraged to submit one poster on a completed science research project. All posters will be displayed at the Poster Exhibition Session during the Forum.
During the Event:
• As this is a residential forum, all students will board at the Hwa Chong Institution Boarding School throughout the Forum.
• Interaction with Nobel Laureates and/or Eminent Scientists.
Students will participate in the Masterclasses and Focused Dialogues and have opportunities to interact closely with Nobel Laureates and/or eminent scientists.
• Poster Exhibition. Students will showcase their research and view the research done by their peers at the Poster Exhibition Session.
• Team Project Challenge. Student participants will work in groups to solve a problem or construct a proto-type using their knowledge of maths and science and their hands-on skills. The projects will be presented to and judged by scientists in a friendly competition.
• Social Programme. Students will participate in visits to places of interest in Singapore.
Post-Event:
• Students will share their learning and experiences with schoolmates upon their return.
• Students will be encouraged to maintain ties with other participants after the Forum.
