Textbook: Thomas' Calculus, 11th edition (2008). Authors: Weir, Hass, and Giordano. (Chapters: 5,6,7, and 8).
Description: This course deals mainly with integral calculus. We cover integrals, applications of integration, techniques of integration, and further applications of integrations to the science and engineering.
Grading Policy:
1. Exam I: 25% Date: Saturday, 4/5/1434H 2. Exam II: 25% Date: Saturday, 17/6/1434 H.
3. Class Work: 10%, It is based on quizzes, homework and other class activities determined by the class instructor
4. Final Exam: 40% [comprehensive common exam.]
Missing Exam I or Exam II: No makeup exam will be given under any circumstance. When a student misses Exam I or Exam II for a legitimate reason (such as medical emergencies), his grade for this exam will be determined based on the Department policy. Further, the student must provide an official excuse within one week of the missed exam.
