Overview
Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center (PSDSARC) is working on innovative scientific and technological solutions that address current and future end user requirements. PSDSARC is participating in creating a national stimulating environment for research and development in areas related to defense and security.
Objectives
The objective is to foster the development, growth, and empowerment of aspiring young people, with the goal of molding and refining know-how and skills deemed necessary in PSDSARC- relevant fields and specialties, including:
1. Stimulate skills development for students and expand career opportunities.
2. Connect local universities with PSDSARC
3. Develop competitive national research focusing on certain technology areas.
Review process
Project proposals are evaluated by the PSDSARC experts. Proposals with the highest
scores are selected for admission.
PSDSARC Contribution
1. Use of PSDSARC facilities, tools, data, and software.
2. Consulting with PSDSARC experts.
3. Materials up to SAR 30,000 for each approved project.
Eligibility
The students must be from a Saudi university. They should be in their final year. The proposal topic should be within the list of areas mentioned below. Projects should result in a successfully working lab prototype or software.
