Research Project
Brief description
This course deals with specific research point for a student under the supervision of a specialized faculty member.
The registration of students begins at seventh level that extends to two semesters.
The research point or the project in chemistry field is divided into two branches: theoretical chemistry courses and experimental part.
Additionally, the student has to submit a final project report and presents an oral presentation.
Major intended learning outcomes of the project or research task.
Implementation of planned experiments.
Recording of data and their critical analysis.
Production of a dissertation reporting outcomes that are potentially publishable (in a peer-reviewed publication).
stage in the program that the project or research undertaken
4th Year / 7th level Number of credit hours
2 credit hours
Academic advising and support mechanisms for students.
Students work directly under supervision of faculty member, individually or within a group
Students use the researches laboratories in chemistry Department Assessment procedures of the research Project
Submit a written report
Conduct an oral presentation
A group of faculty members who reviewed the report and attended the oral presentation assess the project.
