Introduction:

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 Sakhr Company was established in 1982 as one of the international group companies.

 Sakhr is fully funded by the private sector.

 Sakhr is interested in the development of everything related to the Arabic language

in the first place in the areas of speech, automatic translation, research and reader,

automated education and information management.

• Development of the new generation of Natural Processing Techniques for Arabic Language (NLP).

• Trying to overcome the dominance of English in the Arab information industry.

• Correcting the misconception that the developed solutions in the West can be

adapted to meet the needs of the Arab user.

The Automatic Correction Seraj:

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 Siraj is one of those Arabic programs that Sakhr seeks to develop in the application of methodologies for searching and correcting text in Arabic text databases.

 Siraj analyzes texts such as correcting the text, extracting its basic words, classifying,

summarizing, and extracting the flags.

 Siraj consists of four different engines:

Skhr Corrector:

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 It detects the common spelling errors in Arabic and then corrects them automatically.

 It Corrects both Arabic and English texts.

 Corrects the common Arabic errors.

 Corrects grammatical errors in Arabic.

 It can act as an accurate spelling corrector without the need for human intervention.

 It can link text to one of the methods of Arabic writing.

Skhr Corrector:

 The importance of this process lies in the implementation of detailed text analysis

tasks where the input text must be correct before processing.

Keyword Extractor:

 Automatic division of sentences.

 Extract sentences and key words.

 Extracting the names of the flags.

 This engine helps to:

• Identify the important information in the bulky data.

• Facilitate the information presenting and accessing.

• Helps to link documents to each other to reduce the time needed to search in

 The engine of skhr classifier determines the valuable information in a form of logical topics tree or as a classification to the content of the project.

 The engine of the classifier employs the skhr corrector.

 The classification tree in this process includes up to 20 major general categories.

Skhr Abstractor:

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 Al-Arabi’s Sakhr abstractor identifies the most relevant sentences within the text and presents them as a summary of the text.

 The automatic abstractor extracts the important key phrases from the document based on statistical and linguistic rules.

 Siraj also provides the ability to specify a certain level of the process of summarizing

in a way that enables the user to specify the level of summary she/he wants.

 The abstractor engine aims to:

• Reduce the time we need to read and manipulate information manually.

• Provide short text summaries for each item using a list of key phrases arranged by their importance in the text and provide the possibility to select a certain level of summary.

 The abstractor engine employs the skhr corrector and the keyword extractor.
