Highlight: A total of 13332 visits were made in 16 hospitals (7 Makkah, 4 Mina, 1 Jeddah and 4 Arafat) in the last 24 hours. The 3 signals generated within the same period and verified as follows:

 An ongoing event (heat stroke/heat exhaustion) is under intervention.

 A signal for acute febrile syndrome with neurological manifestation was received and verified. The laboratory results were negative for meningococcal meningitis

 The signal generated for severe acute respiratory infections were verified.

All samples were negative for MERS, 1 sample was positive for Acid Fast Bacilli (AFB)
