The Deanship of First Year is pleased to announce to the students the provision of English language exam via the Internet and without any additional cost for the student. it allows student to prepare and train for it and then the final exam according to the time that suits the students. Knowing that the due date for the exam is 29-06-2020. In addition, this step comes in line with the university's efforts to support the official authorities in implementing precautionary measures to prevent the emergence of COVID-19 virus, may God protect us.
Below is a series of important instructions to pay attention to before you start preparing for the exam:
1. Check the effectiveness of your university email, and in the event of a (login problem), please raise a ticket through the [support] system.
2. The exam covers the following skills:
• Reading skill.
• Meaning of the sentence in the English language.
• Use English as a second language.
• Listening skill.
3. The entire exam takes 2-4 hours to complete. Therefore, we hope to plan to allocate this time before scheduling the exam date and entering it.
4. The paid exam will be available from the university only once for each student
5. You will receive an email from ACCUPLACER via email ([email protected]) containing a voucher for each student, their purpose :
• Free entry to the standard language exam. The exam paid by the university.

• There is an expiry date for the voucher, as it requires scheduling the exam no later than 29-06-2020 and it is not allow to enter an exam that was booked after this date.
• You will also receive a text message (SMS) from the Deanship of the Common First Year, containing the date of birth recorded in the university’s regulations for each student, the purpose is: Keep it, as it is one of the requirements to enter the test.
6. Bring the national identity or its substitute in which your information appears in the English language. You will be required to present it before the start of the exam, knowing that the accepted identity is one of the following options:
• Passport.
• Saudi Driving License.
• Civil Status Card from the new version.
7. Checking the readiness of the camera device used to perform the exam, as you must open the camera during the performance of the exam. Knowing that the instructions of the observer must be followed strictly to ensure the perfect performance of the exam.
8. Students not allowed covering their head while female students are optional.
9. The monitoring of the test will be directed by human, and accordingly there are monitors and a full female staff have been prepared to ensure privacy.
10.It is ,not allowed to put headphones of all kinds and according to the purposes intended for them, and whoever has a health problem must communicate with the Deanship of Common First Year to provide medical reports before entering the exam in sufficient time to coordinate with ACCUPLACER.
11.The scores obtained by students in the English exam will be automatically equated with the equivalent in STEP or IELTS
