“Khalifa” Library welcomes the AAU New Staff
“Khalifa” Library in Al Ain University of Science and Technology –Al Ain Campus- organized an orientation for the newly recruited faculty members who joined the university in the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2016-2017.
The orientation started with a warm welcome from Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba - Library Director and other library staff. This was followed by a presentation about library resources, services, policies and procedures, specially the available online databases in library including Scopus, IEEE, ebrary, ABI Global, and LexisNexis.
Moreover, Mr. Kaba informed the visitors about library’s equipment and facilities, where the library provides a spacious and conducive study environment for students in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses, with a seating capacity for 053 visitors, 124 tables, 72 discussion rooms, WiFi connection, and more than 100 computers for the Internet use and database searches.

Beside equipment and facilities, the library organizes many activities for faculty and students such as educational visits, book fairs and exhibitions, workshops and presentations, etc. where they are needed for awareness and effective use of library resources and services. The orientation ended by a tour inside the library.
