Instructions for students on using Question Mark electronic electronic assessment system

Pre-online test instructions

• Ensure that your university email is activated and if there is any problem with the email, the password can be reset through the university’s website. If the problem persists, please contact the technical support of the Deanship of Information and Communications Technology.

• Ensure that you can access the Blackboard system and that there is no problem with your account. In case of entry problems, please send a picture of the problem by e-mail to:

[email protected].

• Ensure that you can view the e-courses you are studying during the current semester, on your Blackboard. In the event of a problem, please send a picture of the problem by e-mail to [email protected].

• Verify that the internet is working well before the beginning of the test.

• Ensure that the computer battery used in the test is fully charged before starting the test, to avoid any disconnection during the test.

• Operating system should be Windows 10.

• If using an Apple device, please ensure the operating system is up to date.

• Use Chrome browser, and ensure it is up to date.

• Ipad, tablets and smart phones cannot be used to run the test.

• You must attend the "experimental test" that will be held before the actual test, to ensure that your internet and device works properly.

• Continuously follow the course announcements page to receive tests related updates.

Instructions during online tests

• Open the Blackboard system 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the test, to ensure that the personal device and Internet works well.

• Based on your test schedule, ensure that the correct course which include the test is chosen in the Blackboard system.

• Ensure that you enter the correct folder in the electronic course, which is specified by the faculty member.

• Open the test at the specified time using Chrome browser.

• Read test instructions before starting the test.

• Only move to the next question when you verify your answer, since you will not be allowed to return to any previous question again.

• Organize the time to answer test questions and follow the test allocated time displayed on screen.

• You can control the size and color of the font displayed in the test by clicking on the icons at the top of the screen
