Results of the survey of the opinions of the faculty members on the evaluation of the
Civil Engineering Program (1443 AH)
Analysis of the results of the survey of the opinions of faculty members on the evaluation of the program -1443
This analysis was based on a survey designed specifically to identify the views of faculty members. The survey included ten aspects as follows:
The first theme: vision, mission and goals.
The second theme: Program Management.
The third theme: Management of Program Quality Assurance.
The fourth theme: Learning and Teaching.
The fifth theme: Student Affairs and Support Services.
The sixth theme: Learning Resources.
The seventh theme: Facilities and Equipment.
The eighth theme: Employment.
The ninth theme: Academic research
The tenth theme: Relations with the Community.
The total number of faculty members who responded to this survey (sample size) was 12 members distributed on several levels of leadership positions as follows:
100%
Female students Male students
The survey used the five-point scale (Likert scale), and the mean and orientation for each statement and each of the ten themes were calculated. The orientation (degree of agreement) was based on the weighted average as follows:
Weighted average value Position (degree of agreement) Less than 1.80
Very Low (V. Low) From 1.80 to less than 2.60
Low From 2.60 to less than 3.40
Average From 3.40 to less than 4.20
High Greater than or equal to 4.20
Very High (V. High)
To verify the validity and reliability of the statements in each theme, the validity and
reliability (Alpha Cronbach) was tested on the questionnaire as follows:
