PROGRAM:
Quality and Patient Safety
Program name: Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Program duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Academic Department: Health Information Technology and Management College: College of Public Health
Required number: 10 students
Students will be admitted to the (MQPS) program based on the general and unified rules and regulations for graduate studies at Saudi universities and approved by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Other specific criteria include:
Application for the program:
•Graduates of healthrelated disciplines from Saudi universities are accepted. Applicants who are graduated from international/abroad universities may be accepted if their university is accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education.
•A Cumulative GPA that is at least 3.25 out of 5 is required.
•Pay the application fee (non-refundable).
- Applicant must pass a personal interview or any other examination that the program/department deems necessary.

1. Applicants must have bachelor's degree in a relevant medical field from a Saudi university or other university which is accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education.
2. Cumulative GPA that is at least 3.50/5.00.
3. At least two years of full time work experience in the field of quality of care, hospital management, or similar healthcare field. Exemption will be limited to a few number of student applicants.
4. A minimal IELTS score of 5.5 or its equivalent.
5. Applicants must pass the written exam and the personal interview.
6. Provide an employer’s approval and two letters of reference

9. English language test result (can be submitted later under conditional admission).
