Short Bio of Dr Belouafi
Ahmed Belouafi is a researcher at the Islamic Economics Institute (IEI), King Abdulaziz University. He holds a Master in Money Banking & Finance and a PhD in Economics from Sheffield University (UK). Before joining the IEI he taught Islamic financial contracts and institutions at the University of Birmingham and London Open College. Among his latest publications are:

His research interests include: Islamic finance education and curricula, Islamic finance in the Europe, Islamic finance and responsible financing, Islamic Economics and finance literature by non-Muslims, and Islamic finance and financial stability.
