Benh dao on (benh chay la liia) do na'm Pyricularia oryza gay ra, day la benh pho bie'n va gay hai nang ve kinh te d cac niTdc canh tac lua. Sur dung nguon gen khang cho cong tac chon tao gio'ng khang du'dc xem la bien phap phong U-if hffu hieu nhat. Ngffdi ta da xac dinh co hdn 40 gen chinh (Pi) va nhieu gen phu (QTLs) khang dao on tren lua. Chien liTdc lau dai cua nha chpn giong la chong nhieu gen khang de tao tinh khang dn dinh ddi vdi benh dao on tren cay lua. Danh gia 100 gidng lua m^a dia phffdng va cac gidng cai tie'n co tinh khang de tao ra con lai mang nhieu gen khang vdi cac noi nam dao on phd bien d DBSCL (POM - 06, POM - 01). 2. Phi^ofng phap a) Ddnh gid kieu hinh
Cac gid'ng lua dUdc bd' tri thi nghiem de danh gia kieu hinh dd'i vdi benh dao dn. Bd' tri thi nghiem theo khdi hoan toan ngau nhien vdi 3 lan lap lai va mot lan dd'i chUng khdng chung benh.
Hat gid'ng dUdc ngam Uong 24 gid va u Uong 36 gid. Sau khi hat gid'ng nay mam dUdc Uong Uong cac khay. Moi gid'ng dUdc trong vdi ba lan lap lai.
Mdi lan lap lai 10 cay. Sau 21 ngay (cay cd 3 - 4 la) ke tU khi nay mam thi tie'n hanh chung benh.
Bdn them phan dam UUdc 2 ngay tie'n hanh chung benh. SU dung dung djch nam dUdc pha loang (mat do bao tU 5 X 10" bao tti/ml) phun deu len la. Cay dUdc chung benh Uong nha lUdi cd mai che va dUdc tao am bang each phun sUdng.
Cay sau khi chung nhilm tU 6 - 7 ngay thi tie'n hanh ghi diem danh %ia mUc do benh khi cac ve't benh xua't hien Uen cac gid'ng ltia (dUa vao thang diem cua Vien Nghien ctifu Lua Qud'c te).

1. Danh gia kieu hinh tinh khang benh dao on tren cac nguon vat lieu
a) Thanh loc benh dao on tren bp giong liia miia dia phUcmg
Cac gid'ng lua mua dia phUdng dUdc coi la vat lieu quy de cung cap nguon gen khang cho cdng tac lai tao. 100 gid'ng liia mua dia phUdng tai ngan hang ciia Vien Ltia DBSCL da dUdc danh kieu hinh dd'i vdi noi nam POM - 01 (thu tai Can Thd) va ndi POM - 06 (thu tai Kien Giang). Ke't qua dUdc ghi nhan ty le khang, nhiem cua 2 ndi nam khac nhau. Dd'i vdi ndi POM-01 nhu sau: 23% rat khang, 9% hdi khang, 3% hdi nhilm va 65% rat nhilm. Cdn phan iing kieu hinh dd'i vdi noi POM - 06 la: 18% rat khang, 1% hdi nhiem va 81% rat nhilm. Cd nhiiJig gid'ng td ra khang ndi POM - 01 nhuiig lai nhilm vdi ndi POM - 06. Tuy nhien, co nhiihg gid'ng rt't khang vdi ca 2 ndi (bang 2).

Summary
Blast, caused by Pyricularia grisea Cav., is one of the major fungal diseases infected rice (Oryza sativa L.) in Mekong delta. Local varieties have been considered as genetic sources of disease resistance among crops.
The breeding program was aimed at improvement blast resistance in improve varieties. The eight crosses lR64yTe tep, IR 64/OM 2514, IR 64/C53, IR64/Jasmine85, IR24/Te tep, IR 24/OM 2514, IR 24/C53 and IR 24/Jasmine 85 plants were obtained. SSR marker with RM 21, RM 162 was used to detect 100 local varieties to find gene Pi - 5(t), Pi - 3(t) and POM - 01 in chromosome 4, 6 and detect Fl of IR 64/Te tep plants. Nep Do, Gang Xe Mua, Nep Vo dua, Hai Hoanh, Tep Hanh, Trang Bo Cau, Nep Ba Tap, Trang Bo Cau... resist- ance with race POM - 01 and race POM 06. These are considered as valuable material for pyramiding resist- ance genes to created durably resistant varieties.
