Abstract: Developing shipping fleet and building strategies for shipconstruction are the central tasks of the shipping and shipbuilding industries. These tasks are the most important ones from the perspectives of the water transport and shipconstruction administra- tors. This article describes the construction of a mathematical model for the selection of types of push - boats and barge, fitting for the route and fair - way operation characteristics.
Keywords: Non-linear mathematical model, optimi- zation for shipping fleet design.
