ABSTRACT
Soft soil reinforcement methods by using soil cement columns are very popular by enhancing the strength and deformation characteristics of the soft soils. Therefore, the reasonable determination of the strength, deformation, and permeability characteristic of soil cement columns is very important in the design and calculation of these methods. This paper analyse the compressibility, coefficient of permeability and shear strength of soft soils reinforced by cement with different cement contents and curing times.
Keywords: soil cement columns'. Young modulus, modulus of deformation, coefficient of permeability.
